Jack & Jill: A Wicked Kiss

Hand in hand, we skip in time

Your beauty has my move blind,

In the sky the sun shines,

Love today I hope to find.

I know where I will take you, Jill.

Yonder - the peak of the hill,

There we’ll talk and talk until,

You understand how I feel.

As we make the tiring climb,

I wonder how I’ll make you mine.

Atop the hill we’ll drink some wine,

You’ll be lucky to have a man so kind.

We talk and smile and dance and play,

Until all that is left to say,

Is I love you, and each night I pray,

That for our sake you’ll make my day.

But before I say the words,

Our peace together is disturbed,

My warm heart turns to beastly black,

At the sight of Mister Perfect, Jack.

He draws near and you ignore me;

Your kiss together tells the whole story.

I see your love is given freely,

But you’ll never give it to me.

Did you lead me to a trap?

I cannot forgive you or Jack;

There is no way we can go back.

There are many virtues that I lack.

In their place I have strong passion,

As Jack will learn when I thrash him,

Down the hill, I’ll send him crashing,

Feeling pain he could not imagine.

You cry over your now-dead Jack,

Whose crown seeps blood from a crack,

And I have learned a sad new fact,

It was you who turned my heart to black.

I was nothing but a toy,

Lured from the hoi polloi,

The class divide I thought destroyed,

But I’d never be your lover-boy.

I hold you by the hair and squeeze,

Leading you to the edge with ease,

You will soar over the trees,

Die now, Jill, if you please.

Your corpse is prettier than you were,

Blood from your face fills the earth,

But I still want your bite on my lips,

And so I'll steal a wicked kiss.
